Creativity has been a huge part of my life. Be in Designing a piece of unique jewellery or applying creativity to solving a problem.
Since I was a small child I had a fascination with shiny things. I used to even collect paper clips and rocks and glued together to form a necklace. I used to draw pictures of rings and pendants until I drove my parents insane...
It was thus my calling to become a Jewellery Designer and I went off to study the matter at Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa.
I have been in the Jewellery & Diamond Industry since 2002 and have designed for Jewellery Manufacturers across the globe, from Washington State in the US to London in the UK and for local celebrities in South Africa.
Each and every person in the world has a unique personality and thus a different taste in jewellery.
Whether they wear only one ring or a few rings, bangles, earrings or prefer a single pendant from time to time, drape themselves in shiny things each piece has a specific meaning and value to each individual.
I take my inspiration from that fact and take great care in creating designs for every one of those people that captures their essence and I create a design that only they will have...
As a Rule-of-Thumb, I do my initial sketches by hand after which I go and literally build the design in a 3d CAD program called RhinoCeros. I also use programs like Corel Draw and Photoshop to do some of my designs in.
